                               Fifty-third Message of Spiritual Teachings

Dictated by Apostle Thomas

New generations will assume the leadership of Earthly nations in order to eliminate wars – Armed conflicts and the divine Providence – The Lord appeals to leaders of nations in this end of century – No leader has the right to end the life of his subjects

The Lord Jesus has been making enormous efforts towards the establishment of a climate of peace to last until the end of the century. The generation that is currently getting ready to assume the leadership of nations in the beginning of the next century came to Earth prepared to promote peace and general understanding among all. Because these incarnate souls are here in order to search for new lights and blessings for their spirits and not to engage in wars against fellow creatures, they must concern themselves with such goal, which was established in the spiritual plane they came from a long time ago.

All men and women must understand that the use of friction to resolve disputes is unjustifiable because the children of other nations also are brothers and sisters pursuing the same objectives. The men and women who are incarnated on this great Brazilian nation probably for the first time should realize that, since they have already incarnated in other nations, they do not belong to any specific nation.

Because the Creator provided the temporary leaders of nations with intelligence, so that they can search for amicable solutions to their problems, exertion of force against weaker nations will no longer be justified. It would be good for leaders who contemplate using force to remember that, in case of an armed conflict, the divine Providence will side with the weaker nation. If they verify history’s pages, they will learn that the spoils which victorious nations were able to accumulate in past wars got diluted with time, which proves that bloodsheds are unjustifiable.

The Lord Jesus appeals to all government leaders to ponder on this issue before engaging in armed conflicts to solve their temporary problems, given that there are more convenient and efficient means. All leaders should use the final three decades of this century to implant peace and harmony in their governments, effort which would attract blessings and support from the divine Providence. Since all life should be preserved, the conflicts that have persisted in many regions should halt at once. The Lord has previously stated that, since this humanity is living a decisive phase in its spiritual development, all lives must be preserved to allow every man and woman to live, learn and grow.

The progress of those who perish in armed conflicts is hindered because they are deprived from obtaining the knowledge that they still lack. Consequently, since the leaders responsible for hurling them into the fire of a conflict will be held accountable by divine Providence, it would be good for them to rethink it very carefully, for rigorous laws shall be invoked in this end of century. The Lord poses the following question to leaders of state: “As temporary leaders of nations, do you have the right to sacrifice the lives of your subjects, regardless of the pretext? The answer is an absolute no. No leader has the right to hurl poor subjects into the fire of an armed conflict in order to impose his prepotency. One of the devastating effects of armed conflicts is that it is common for greatly evolved spirits who came to Earth to work on projects that can spur its progress to be among the drafted youth. Due to the fact that they sort of wither when drafted for a war, they can no longer perform any good deeds for the benefit of humanity. The divine Providence holds such aggressive leaders responsible for the damage that conflicts cause to the general population. They shall learn about such fact when they return to the spiritual world.

Considering that armed conflicts never bring happiness to the involved nations, all existing armed conflicts should be brought to an end and future ones prevented. In fact, since the victorious nations in past wars became entangled in subsequent crises, they were prevented them from savoring their victories or trophies. Only one situation can justify the draft of youth, and that is when the struck nation needs to defend itself. In such cases, the divine Providence sides with the struck nation. By changing its weakness into strength, the Superior Forces enable it to defeat its aggressors. Since the divine justice is present on Earth at all times, it accompanies all negotiations among nations and provide support for the weaker after it humbly does all it can to avoid a conflict.

Since some of you may wonder if the entire population would share responsibility for unjustifiable armed conflicts, the Lord clarifies that although the responsibility falls mainly upon the leaders, some of the blame goes to the war enthusiasts who helped inflame the general mood. However, the general population is not held responsible by the Superior Forces. Due to the fact that it is vital that the political and administrative deviations of nations be corrected at this point in time, the Superior Forces will remove from the earthly environment souls who are opposed to sentiments of peace and understanding among the nations. Due to the fact that time is running out, and because there is so much still to be done on Earth in preparation for the advent of the next century, a great deal of harmony must exist among nations in order for peace to exist in all minds.
